Have just returned from holiday down there and was amazed to see that first are still using quite a few Bristol VR's in regular service, the oldest of which I saw were "T" reg which would make them 1978/9 I think. Another local company, Truronion even has an ex-Trent VR still in use! I think it was PRC 849 X, but not absolutely sure I got the numbers right. Having said that, most of Truronion's fleet is quite modern, as is that of Western Greyhound. But First's fleet appears incredibly old. Didn't see any evidence of modern, low-floor vehicles at all.
