I've heard that some of the ex-R4 Excels are being refurbished and painted into Route 1 colours. They are going to be dark blue and sound nice.

The flying turd does seem unreliable. I bet they will use the volvo B10B's on the service now. I prefer them actually.

I always noticed as a kid that the E-reg citybus sounded different to the previous ones that Derby City Transport bought. I still remember having brand new buses on school trips when I lived in Sinfin.

I think 147 is called the 'milkfloat' because it rattles so much.

I just wish Trent would get rid of the Solo's on the Aleestree. They have to be the worst bus on the road. Does anyone else feel the same about them? I travelled on a new solo in Manchester. I looks the same but sounds very different! More like one of the new Dennis Darts
