He smiled quietly and caught her face in both his hands and dipped his head to press a sweet, lingering kiss to her lips. "I know. It'll all work out just fine." He agreed and assured her at the same time - because he knew that his parents were such intimidating people, but he also couldn't see them not liking her. Though it would probably take a long time before they were happy with his choice of girlfriend, and they probably had someone else in mind for him to spend his life with, they couldn't realistically fault her for anything.
