"Did the whole Gray Wellman debacle teach her nothing?"

Hmm - intersting observation - but I'm not sure I see the connection between Gray - an innocent, and Jurgen - definitely not! LOL!

Could you explain a bit more about what you meant?

I *think* the comparison I was trying to draw, and it's quite here so I may just be babbling, is that Nikita has a tendency to quickly form deep and emotional attachments with men who are not right for her. She knew what she and Gray had couldn't last, but she was determined to hold on until Section had to "teach her a lesson." Jurgen wasn't right for her either, but Nikita refused to "be patient" and "stay away from [Jurgen]," the only things Michael asked her to do. Instead, she ran full-bore the other way, just because she could. Tweaking Michael was an added bonus.

I thought Jurgen was a nice enough guy, but I felt no chemistry between his character and Nikita whatsoever. I also realize Ops and Maddy were manipulating the relationship to get Nikita into Jurgen's house, but the whole "affair" felt too contrived; too fake. How could Nikita possibly go from the night on the barge directly to Jurgen, especially after the way Michael talked to her at the beginning of Spec Ops? It boggles the mind!
