Women have been considered the representative of their nation. If war breaks out and women are killed or raped then the invaders believe they have conquered the land since they've taken the women. The stereotypes associated with women from different cultures reflect on the country of their origin, and one percieves the country to be exactly like the woman. Media as mentioned back in feb. has impacted this idea of women as a nation, James Bond, and his international woman sidekick, being the perfect example. This is the just of my paper and where I want to go, except there are so many pieces I can use, Dien Cai Dau, M.Butterfly, etc, and I can't choose the work that will give me the best insight. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
