For my paper topic, I am going to discuss the first paper topic proposed by Prof. Yun. "What's Sex Got to Do WIth It"?
Woman as Nation. I think it best fits the perspective that I want to take when writing the paper.

>Prostitutes during the Vietnam War regard sex as a
>representation of loss. They have sex with the same

>warped and they are reduced to sexual objects. The

>relish in the sexual act—an act that creates life,
>than to continue to dwell on incessant morbid death
>they see everyday. This is what sex is to
>them-temporary peace. Therefore, political
>implications are implied by this sexual act.
> Contrary to this idea, Tim Seibles looks at sexuality
