Very interesting. Could it be that, in the same way that freedom and responsibility are not seperate, the creation and the discovery of meaning are also not seperate? Also two sides of the Big Coin? This does suggest to me that basic equation, Being=identity+relatedness. Creation of one's own meaning is on the identity side; discovery of meaning is on the relatedness side. This is badly oversimplified, because it can also be reversed: I can certainly discover meaning in my Self, that has not been intentionally created by me. And I can also, perhaps, choose to create meaning, or at least to create a point-to-this in my relatedness to whatever, in various ways.

And that discovery of pointlessness can be very freeing to someone who has felt overburdened with a directive from somewhere to create value or to find the point, or to make it count, or to not waste time, or one of those rules of this world. This is not in any way to undercut your pleasure in discovering that you can in fact create meaning where before things seemed pointless. That is a great freeing too!

Yeah, Mutuality is a gas! When it is not being excruciating! And really, both at the same time is closer to my experience of it.....and I am so glad you are experiencing this rush of freedom! You deserve it. Drink every drop, my friend.
