Wow thanks for bringing this here. I've got some thoughts on this.

First of all a real practical consideration. The teachers that you speak of are living in the MOST EXPENSIVE PLACE IN THE COUNTRY with an incredibly high cost of living. Take that into consideration. I suspect that I could live very well here in Portland on the amt. of $ they are making. I could be wrong about this and please realize that this is just off the top of my head. But it's something to look at.

The second thing is that there IS a real barrier that you are hitting when you try to go beyond the limited either/or way of thinking. It's just like a ceiling. It's like that room I was talking about with no doors. It's like the matrix in the movie The Matrix. It's invisible but it's there. Moving through this barrier is quite possible, but the mind cannot do it. If you truly find that you are willing to see this situation differently, if you are honestly open to seeing it another way then that way can appear. As long as you don't keep trying to figure it out with your mind. That's the rub and the secret. Holding yourself in the absolute mystery of how this can resolve is an agony to the either/or mind that wants so badly to figure figure figure it all out.

I was talking with a friend the other day who has been absolutely STUCK in a very similar dilemma about wanting to move into her life's work and having to make a living at a less than optimal job. She's been stuck here for a long time, years. So we sat and talked and she realized that she WANTED to see this differently. So we sat in the silence for awhile with this, holding ourselves in the mystery and NOTHING CAME...so we went on talking and after awhile she came out with the most beautiful resolution that worked for her...not even realizing what had happened. It just seemed like a normal thing. I said, Hey, you've just gone to another level with this and she was totally suprised. It's sort of like this: if you get the mind out of the way the answer can appear.

Another thought is that Holly is the absolutely most incredible person to talk to about something like this. Just mention the either/or dilemma to her and you will have her on this like a dog on a bone. And she's terrific and can track another person like that same dog on a scent.

Well I'm out of thoughts. Great blessings on your adventures into the Mind.

Love, Cass
