Wow! This forum as well as being an addiction for attention of mine too, is becoming center stage in my shakedown. I will be noticing boredom today as well as terror along with you Cassie. And me too on need for attention and specialness. And more special than. And besides it being natural, because babies do die from lack of attention, I have also thought about how it's built into us as mammals for reasons of survival. How it relates to the fear of being the animal who is cast of from the pack to fend for ones self, the cast off one usually doesn't make it, and spends most of it's remaining days trying to work itself back into the pack. Specialness, and more special than, also relates to how high we find ourselves in the pecking order. the higher we are makes our personal survival most likely. I think our wanting to be more special than, and noticed for our own unique specialness, is very tied up with these, natural primative motivations. It's way to universal with all of us not to be. In fact I think everyone is caught up with this who is part of the wheel of birth and death. And I notice that Saniel himself, at least is seems to me, needs to be seen and acknowledged for his true worth in bringing into the world this new teaching which is special, new, and and I will say it, the best by far. Besides this teachings needing to be seen in it's rightful place, I feel that Saniel needs to be recognized and honored personally for his specialness. So my feeling about wanting to be seen as uniquely special, is that it gets a big green light. The task for me is to hold others specialness along with my owm. Which changes the whole thing, because if everyone is so special, no one can be especially special. So I don't see the need to be seen as special, and the need for attention as anything that needs to change by this process of integration we are going through. And I notice that Saniel is always pointing out to people where and how they are uniquely special. He wants us to really get this and own this. I am just going to basically relax in my specialness. And enjoy yours too! I love all your praise for my coming forth on this forum with my unique wisdom. And every morning I will be lapping it up as my favorite meal of the day. And I am going to continue to dish out all my acknowledgement of your specialness to anyone who shows up here.
