My dear and lovely Gill, how enamored I am with the forum too. I feel like that robot in the movie, "Short Circuit" that dashes madly around shouting "Input, input" and devouring every source of information in sight. Only I'm shouting "Feedback, feedback" and devouring every posting on this forum. What fun! I've decided not to fight it. I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like for you so isolated from awakened and awakening contact; finally getting email and the internet after such a long dry spell. Thank god for technology.

This whole thing about the mind has my mind boggled. The indecision thing it does, the confusion...the whole mess. I've just reread my interchange with Ben earlier in this forum, starting out with the thread "Who ARE we?" and saw something that I didn't see before. The mind is a wild man, trying to figure it all out, trying to get itself around things that it can never comprehend. What I saw was that THIS IS GOOD! This is the Zen koan principle in action. And when it finally wears out, gives up and goes away...then we begin to operate from a different basis altogether. I don't know what this basis is (my mind doesn't get it, can't communicate it and just falls down on the job here) but I suspect it is that "not knowing" that Ben speaks of. So let the mind ramble on and tangle with whatever comes its way. When it gets that it can never get it then maybe that agonizing game will finally end.

And a great good day to you too. Or night, as the case may be. I have this device that tells me what the time in London is - are you in the same time zone as London? It looks like that would put you exactly 8 hours ahead of us. Is that right? How amazing that we can connect in real time with each other. What fun this is!

Big hug, Cassie
