Subject: Whatever's up

You know I thought I might write something to capture your interest and imagination here, to sort of start the trickle flowing. But today I have nothing sparkling or imaginative to say. Today my beloved dog friend, Wilbur, a scruffy sort of ordinary mutt, died, and I feel as though I have lost my best friend.

I think I'll just say this. This forum is not about performing or looking good, this is simply a place to show up exactly as you are with whatever is up for you.

So what I want to say now is that sorrow fills my chest like powder from a gunshot wound. I am bereft in many ways. Heaviness winds its way around my heart and it is difficult to want to move. I just want to sit, today, and be here as totally as possible. I feel so scoured out.

And I would like to invite each one who reads this message to just sign on with whatever's up for you. Whatever that may be. You are welcome here.

Love, Cassie
