 No i really don't beleive otpion d or i'd of converted. I think that it might be mistranslated because i really don't have too much faith in mankind. Also it is impossible to translate word for word and not being able to do that could easily change the meaning some.. Like i said before when i was talking to my friend about this who is wiccan when he said from when he studied it he came to believe it meant that not to believe in jesus to get to heaven and become one with the father but, to try to follow his example and you can become at peace and connect with god as he did. I mean look at all the people who could be much more spiritual but probably aren't because they are not willing to give up items of comfort and just chose to live in lesiure instead of a life of simplicty or won't bother devouting themselves to others. Lok at ghandi and mother teresa, even though teresa was a christan but ghandi wasn't, when i think of ghandi the translation that way really makes sense. Ghandi didn't agree with christ followers but he admired him very much and really tired to bel ike christ i feel. I mean many people today say ghandi was probably the closet person to being liek christ that there was. I am sure that through his actions ghandi probalby had a much closer conenction with god/ his spiritual side then many christians or any other folks from most religions. Now mother teresa was a christian but she was some one who really did try to follow the example of christ and look what a wonderful women she was. Ghandi did not have to believe in christ to be a wonderful person but he did follow his example. Considering if everyone really tried to be like christ and there be no wars and this world be peaceful that is really reason enough to believe i think that the tranlsation could be taken that way.
Everyone definately has the capablity to learn to be as loving and as peaceful and as great as person as ghandi ya it take some time and sacrafice but not many people are willing to do that. Also i know many ppl atumoatically think that jesus was god's son because of hte miracles he was capable of and i think this was since i do believe in kaballah that jesus knowing how to connect to god/ his higherself allowed for the miracles to happen. However, i beleive that we all have that capabilities that jesus did. It is just not many of us are connected with that side of ourself. I( mean look how many people believe in christ and still get his message horrible wrong, it seems to be quiet a lot of people. GHandi while not beleving in christ as being the way, still probably had a better handle on christ's message then almost anyone has.
