Yeah, I refuse to drink anything which includes the direections "Drink quickly to avoid curdling.".

Personally, I like this (fom cocktail.com):

Irish Gun Runner
1/2 shot Irish Cream
1/2 shot Irish Whiskey
1/2 shot Grand Marnier
coffee

Pour piping hot coffee into mug filled with liquors. Stir well, then top with sweet heavy cream.

Editor's note: In the old song St. Patrick Was A Gentleman by Henry Bennet and Mr. Toleken, folk singers tout the success of this legendary man with a chourus of "Then success to bold Saint Patrick's fist, he was a saint so clever, He gave the snakes and toads a twist, and banished them forever."

Curiously enough the fourth verse, our favorite, sheds some light on the tradition of drinking Irish cocktails to commemorate this day. "No wonder that our Irish boys should be so free and frisky, For good St. Patrick taught them first the joys of tippling whisky."
