The other thing is that if a contestant did well at Miss Wisconsin, her local may be moved up to allow her to compete for another title. Miss Madison from 2023 is a prime example. Her first time at state and she placed as 3rd runner-up at Miss Wisconsin 2023. I'd bet money that she'll compete for an open title in 2025.
