“Raaaag, wake up!” Came a girly voice from the front entrance to his house. Ragnorak gave off a slight groan and wrapped his sheet around himself tighter. Three knocks came from his wooden door and Ragnorak forced himself out of bed with no joy. He slowly shuffled along to his door and opened it while yawning. Faith stood in front of him with a big smile, next to her was Armeda who looked as tired as Rag did and a very small Weedorion who was clinging onto Faith around her body called Mayi. She was Faith’s daughter who hardly left Faith alone, she used to go to a Weedorions play school but Mayi would end up sitting in a corner crying for her ‘mummy’ Faith. Faith then decided to home teach Mayi because of her social problems although it would be hard since Mayi’s father was dead. He was called Groumir, an apprentice scientist who died in the explosion of the machine that restored Ragnorak’s life. He died four weeks after Mayi’s birth. Since Faith is a female Weedorion she can only have one child in her life, providing their ‘dead’ eye (which is grey) is the start of a new Weedorions head. Their small eye never grows back so it is custom that a Weedorion would place in a sapphire, ruby, diamond or gold sphere in the empty socket. Faith chose a blue sapphire since it was here favourite colour. Faith was wearing her black skirt once again that would be classed as a mini-skirt on a human, while Armeda wore nothing and Mayi had a black skirt on with green circles randomly placed on it that faded into the black.
“Rag, you need to get something for Marooma’s wedding, you can’t wear that belt, it isn’t pretty enough!” Ordered Faith.
Ragnorak ignored the offence to his belt and replied, “Fine, but do we have to go now, I’m still tired.”
Armeda butted in before Faith could tell their King why they should go shopping at this time, “See Faith, even Raggy agrees it’s to early, c’mon it’s eight fifteen, can’t we go in the afternoon?”
Faith looked most disgusted at the laziness of the two male Weedorions, in a sharp tone she made her mark by saying, “No! We must go now because the queue's won’t be long okay? Now you better come or else you won’t get a good costume and you will look stupid! Now Rag, Armeda, lets go!”
The two male Weedorions sighed while the headstrong female Weedorion shuffled off with Mayi having her tentacles wrapped round Faith still and trying to keep up.

It had almost been an hour going in and out of shops, searching for the right costume that Faith liked. She was torn between a white skirt with a fake pink flower on it acting as a button with an extremely miniature white top that was like a belt that you put around your chest. The stitching on the top and skirt where on the out side but black and the top rim of the skirt had elastic material placed inside the skirt so it was adjustable to different Weedorion sizes. The other set of cloths she was interested in was a rich silk, blue skirt that had the dragon of love going down the left hand side. The Dragon of love was made out of a golden fabric which made Faith’s eye widen showing she really liked the skirt. Two small golden tassels hung down from the left top side of the skirt so Weed’s could change how tight the skirt was around their stomach, the ends where bobbled and drooped down like a Willow tree. She spun round on the spot and asked her two friends Armeda and Ragnorak which one she should get.
“White skirt, top thing!” “Blue dragon one.” replied to the two at the same time, the two looked at each other with a strange expression as if arguing other which one she should get with no words.
“I know, I will get them both.” Said Faith trying to please her friends, of course she wasn’t complaining, buying two costumes in one day was great! Armeda ended up getting a long red and green t-shirt with the words ‘Let’s get busy’ on the back which Faith did not approve of and told him he must turn it inside out for the wedding and Rag got a plain white t-shirt with a hypnotic blue swirl in the middle on the front slowly fading into the white. Faith bought Mayi a bandana with a red rose in it and a red silk dress with golden stitching on the out-side like the Dragon on Faith’s blue dress. The colours for a wedding were customisable as long as there was hardly any black, a wedding was meant to be a joyful time, so anything bright was perfect.

They went into a park for Mayi since she was getting board like the two male Weedorions. The park was full of flowers and grassy areas; there is also a large pond to one side. Since it is a calming area many insects live there so Mayi was shuffling about and jumping on occasion trying to grab butterflies. She was giving off the same giggle that Faith makes every time she got close to catching one. The three older Weedorions sat on a bench over looking Mayi, making sure no harm would come to her. After twenty minuets Mayi became tired and fell asleep half on Faith, half on Armeda who looked a bit embarrassed and went silent. The three (when Armeda rarely talked) spoke about Bashwatles and wondered how his meeting was going. Life was easy as a Weedorion king, Rag could do what he wanted, the Weedorions did not pester him all the time and rarely got an admirer coming up to him. The Weedorions learnt how to all be equal, in their town there was no such thing as assault, rape or abusive language, one Weedorions problem, was every Weedorions problem. There might be the odd argument in a bar or so every now and then, but they don’t go anywhere near the disasters that some humans cause in their empire. Ragnorak went to get ice cream for him and his companions since the other two couldn’t move without disturbing Mayi. He looked at the sun, then down under it to see the House of Luck, which was a Weedorions religious place of worship. It was a circular dome that was made out of glass. There were colourful patterns on the glass which made the inside a complexity of pictures since the bright sun acted as a bulb behind a stained glass lampshade. It was one of the superb creations that the Weedorions had made; some Weedorion Elder’s claim that when the sun was not out to make the House of Luck beautiful, the Goddess of Luck was asleep or un-happy. A Weedorion Elder is like a human priest. Beyond that Rag could see The Tower Of Force, which was the Weedorions most prized building. It contained blissful rooms, the last King’s/Queen’s entire fortune and the famous Blade of Immortality. Rag could enter The Tower Of Force at the age of thirty, when he had been trained enough and worthy to wield the Blade of Immortality and ensure The Tower Of Force’s safety. He only had to wait about five months before he has passed the recordless test. He turned his head back to the scenery in front of him and the queue to the ice cream wagon was fairly long. After waiting in the sweltering heat for twenty minuets he finally received his three ice creams and a cool apple juice carton for Mayi when she woke up.

It came to eleven o’clock when ordinary Weedorion school starts so Faith and Mayi went home for her teaching, Mayi waved to the male Weedorions with one tentacle coiling round her almost empty apple juice carton while having one tentacle still wrapped round Faith’s body. Although Mayi got exceptionally close to Faith it was accepted in the Weedorion community because Mayi was only five and her father was dead so they let her hug her mother since she lacked the love from her father and of course when Mayi gets older she will grow out of hugging her mum. Armeda and Ragnorak stood on the dusty path that head to the exit of the park, time seemed to slow down without Faith since she always kept the conversation alive.
“Erm, what ya wanna do Rag?” Questioned Armeda starting off the new conversation.
“Umm, not sure really, ha, still tired!” Said Ragnorak in a lively tone of voice.
“I’m gonna chill, like go home,” Armeda grinned, “Need more sleep to!”
“Yer, think I might do that to, well maybe not sleep but take today easy, you know? Hmph, I'm dreading that wedding tomorrow, never been to one.” Exclaimed Rag.
“Woah well don’t worry about it, it’s nothin’ great, but there’s a lot of fit females there!” Said Armeda while winking.
Ragnorak thought about what Armeda had said and decided to head on home to try and calm his nerves before the wedding tomorrow.
