Let's review the quote in question:

>As for the style of boards, I much prefer something
>with the InvisionFree format. It allows for a much
>wider range of discussion, divides that up into
>subcategories, and it's not so hideously slow to load

Two points about format, which I will address:

1. "It allows for a much wider range of discussion"

Agreed in that, as my original post states, sequential format is much more conducive to discussions.

2. "divides that up into subcategories"

But not to the extent of a tiered format. The sequential format is perfect for discussions, and the tiered format is horrendous for discussions. On the other hand, the sequential format is horrible for information presentation, while the tiered format is perfect for information presentation.

So my original post poses two main issues:

1. Discussion vs. information
2. Format based upon the answer to #1.

Your post had three points about service, which I will address:

1. "it's not so hideously slow to load as Voy"

"It's" refers to "InvisionFree format," based upon your original post (quoted above). Format is irrelevant to speed.

2. "This board can't handle anywhere near the amount of posts the last one could"

Agreed, but this has nothing to do with format.

3. "it's also far more prone to troll spamming attacks"

Agreed, but this has nothing to do with format since this refers to "this board." I can see how this relates to format, and I agree with that point.
