Because I just don't chat. I don't care whether there is chat or not, but I support anyone who wants the function available, I just want a board. Want, need, must have BOARD!

I prefer the well-thought-out, slower conversations you get on MBs, that's one of the reasons I've been coming here so long - the quality of the posts. Plus, I have no idea if you can link to badfics in a chatroom, and that's a MUST.
