Another thing about Mary Sues is that they always seem to have IQs six times higher than the smartest person in the series, have complete mastery of every skill necessary to get the series' principals out of trouble, and they gush love all over the Sues for doing it ("The Phoenix is out of Bird Missiles?? Oh, I'll just fabricate some using sheetmetal from Joe's vehicle and fuel from the Phoenix for propellant and warheads! Is it okay if I dismantle your car, Joe?" "Of course you can! I'd never have thought of doing that myself! You're the best!" "<~blush~> Tee-hee!"), or they have some Deux es Telekina ability: they can move objects with the beauty of their smile, swoon animals and bloodthirsty terrorists with the music of their voice, stop speeding bullets with a song, jump tall buildings with a single sigh...you get the picture. ;-)
