It’s not food
GERBON
So, I take it this slayer snack is what you’re here for?
CONNOR
No. My worlds ending
GERBON
Is it really your world?
CONNOR
I belong there. Things I love are there. It’s my world and it’s being swallowed.
GERBON
That’s too bad, I vacationed there in 1488, nice place. Bit basic
CONNOR
It’s changed – a lot.
GERBON
I can imagine, this square thing with people it got thrown in here last week
CONNOR
It’s a portable television
GERBON
Nice world. Television. Those people were tiny. I tried to free them but they just exploded into little dots and started going all over the place
CONNOR
Are we almost there yet?
GERBON
Who knows. We’ve had a lot of pollution these days, things move around a lot.
CONNOR
Which is why we’ve been here for months?
GERBON
I’d say so.
CUT TO.
EXT – FIELD – NIGHT
Anya and Dawn back into each other as Faith comes from between them
ANYA
Okay blowing your stick would be nice about now!
The portal briefly opens and spits another group of demons out
FAITH
Here goes.
Faith brings the pipe to her lips and let’s in one gentle blow, a barely audible sound causes the demon’s to look up
ANYA
Wow. Good hearing.
FAITH
(grins)
I think I know what this does!
Faith takes the deepest breath and blows with all force into the pipe – a loud piercing sounds come screeching from it.
The demon’s one by one begin to roar in pain before collapsing to the ground
DAWN
Wow.
ANYA
Cool.
FAITH
Sweet.
DAWN
Connor.
ANYA
Ruined the pattern Dawn
DAWN
We have to try to get him back now
ANYA
That makes more sense
CUT TO.
INT – FAITHS APARTMENT – NIGHT
Andrew is holding hands with both Korben and Ryan
RYAN
Borrow any power you need
Andrew flicks the final dust down onto the bowl as a smashing light blasts through all three of them before bursting into the air and centring down Andrew.
CUT TO.
EXT – FIELD – NIGHT
The portal bursts open in front of all of them, wind from the bitter Quo’Tarth tunnel is throwing their hair back
ANYA
I just got this done today!
DAWN
Do we have a plan?
FAITH
Go in. get him. Get out.
ANYA
I should stay here and…what the hell, I’ll come.
FAITH
You ready ladies?
DAWN
Ready!
The girls link hands and charge at the portal – it doesn’t close behind them
CUT TO.
INT – FAITHS APARTMENT – NIGHT
They’re all still holding hands Andrew is not visible due to the amount of light around him
KORBEN
Keep it going Andrew
CUT TO.
EXT – QUO’TARTH
ANYA
Okay, ready to leave now
DAWN
We’re not leaving without him
FAITH
I think he’s been past here
DAWN
How do you know?
Faith points out a corpse of a demon that’s been there at least a week – it has one of Connor’s hand daggers in it.
FAITH
Something tells me
ANYA
Oh god! Time is different here
FAITH
I know
ANYA
Wrinkles
DAWN
Anya you went a thousand years without wrinkling
ANYA
I meant the two of you. I still have to see your faces
CUT TO.
EXT – QUO’TARTH TOWER
CONNOR
I’ll find the core in there
GERBON
Maybe
CONNOR
Maybe?!
GERBON
Yeah. I was gonna eat you on the way here but you’re a nice kid so I won’t. You’re real boring too and so you’re on your own now.
Gerbon begins to walk away
GERBON
Oh one more thing – there’s this big four headed creature that guards the source
CONNOR
Four heads? Like two sets of a double heads?
GERBON
Smart kid. You’ll get far I’m sure.
The Gerbon opens a sack by his side and hands Connor a little necklace.
GERBON
It’s all about fate. Use this only when you honestly believe it’s your only option.
Connor clutches the pendant in his hand as the Gerbon vanishes.
CUT TO.
EXT – QUO’TARTH
Anya, Faith and Dawn continue to journey through the land as Dawn starts twiddling with her hair.
DAWN
How long have we been here?
FAITH
I…
(looks at watch)
2 days
DAWN
My hair is gross
ANYA
It took you two days here to realise that? Slo-o-ow
DAWN
Hey!
ANYA
It’s true!
DAWN
You didn’t have to say it!
FAITH
Guys.
ANYA/DAWN
She started it
FAITH
Nice to know you can maintain your immaturity whichever world you’re in
ANYA

FAITH

Faith is knocked over from behind
ANYA

Dawn jumps in and kicks the demon – he throws her down, easily. Faith is also easily beaten down and it’s up to Anya to take things over. She’s soon beaten down.
The demon is about to lunge onto Faith who grabs her sword as the other two push it onto the blade.
FAITH
I don’t believe it
ANYA
You got it on my shoes
FAITH
We don’t have our powers. None of us.
DAWN
What?
FAITH
I…I don’t know why
ANYA
Oh crap. It’s because none of us were born with them – we’re all on borrowed power.
DAWN
Does that mean Connor…
FAITH
No. No he’s always had it, always.
DAWN
What are we going to do? We can’t just head back now
FAITH
We won’t. I guess we’ll just keep going.
CUT TO.
INT – FAITHS APARTMENT – NIGHT
Jones eyes spring open – he looks over to Maria as her words echo in his head. He squeezes his eyes shut as the visions re-enter his mind. All of them, dead.
KORBEN
Jones!
Jones ignores him and sprints out of the door. Korben let’s go of Andrew’s hand and begin’s sprinting after him. The light surrounding Andrew fades away as Andrew passes out in Ryan’s lap.
CUT TO.
EXT – QUO’TARTH
Connor rolls under the legs of the monster and kicks the back of it’s knee. One of it’s heads spins round and bites Connor’s shoulder. Ignoring the pain, Connor climbs onto the beast with a running leap.
CONNOR
Not so smart now huh?
He digs the axe into the back like an ice pick and hangs from it until he can swing underneath at which point he rams his fist with all force through the demon’s thick skin. His entire arm is deep inside the monster before springing out, still gripping onto part of it’s heart. The monster falls down with Connor still underneath.
Minutes later, Connor emerges, bloody and bruised as the demon dissolves – a mass of light bursting out.
Faith, Anya and Dawn (miles away) See the light reach the sky
DAWN
Connor.
CUT TO.
EXT – FIELD – NIGHT
Korben tackles Jones to the ground, pinning him down
KORBEN
Calm down you can’t go in there!
JONES
You don’t understand I’ve seen…none of them have their powers in there!
KORBEN
What?
JONES
They’re all going to die if they don’t get out of there now!
Korben climbs off of him and runs over to the barrier
KORBEN
Faith!
JONES
Faith!
KORBEN
Dawn!
CUT TO.
EXT – QUO’TARTH
ANYA
Do you hear something?
FAITH
That’s Jones
DAWN
Jones is here?
FAITH
No…he’s…
They look behind them, in the very far distance they can see the extremely wide portal with Jones and Korben at the edge
Faith takes one look and begins sprinting back to the entrance.
DAWN
Where are you going?! Faith!
She begins following immediately followed by Anya.
EXT – QUO’TARTH
Connor reaches into the mess the demon left behind and finds a large key.
CONNOR
Score.
He walks up to the tower and enters the key into the lock expecting the door to open, it begins to grow over. Swallowing the key as the entire surface of the tower takes a smooth, marble form.
EXT – QUO’TARTH
JONES
Get out of there!
FAITH
We have to find Connor!
JONES
You can’t last in there! By their time you’ve already been there a week. You’re all without powers you wont last any longer!
Faith looks back over the land – light is coming closer, the land seems to be vanishing
DAWN
Faith, no.
FAITH
Dawn we have to. Listen, listen to me. We’ll find away but this isn’t it.
Faith grabs Dawn and throws her out to Jones, Anya is already there. Faith takes one look back as she sees the land dissolving – Connor is running towards her from the light
FAITH
Connor come on!
Connor is getting closer as the portal begins closing
FAITH
Connor!
DAWN
Faith look out!
Faith spins round as a large demon grabs her and smashes his claw into her chest before throwing her hard out of the portal – she crashes to the ground, hitting her head on a rock.
Jones runs over, Dawn can’t take her eyes from the portal – Connor is about 10 feet away
DAWN
Jump!
Connor leaps and misses as the portal closes, the sky returns to normal and the demons bodies dissolve.
DAWN
NO!
JONES
Dawn!
Dawn turns around as a tearful Jones leans over Faith’s body
DAWN
No..
JONES
She’s dead
END OF PART THREE
EXT – FIELD – TWO MONTHS LATER
Dawn is stood with Jones at Faith’s grave.
DAWN
I’ll leave you alone
She walks away and head’s over to a small tree, still on it’s supporting log. She places a flower down for Connor.
VOICE
Dawn…
Dawn turns to see an extremely old man of around his late eighties, smiling at her
DAWN
Sorry, do I know you?
MAN
I expect not, not anymore
Dawn looks into his eyes, deeply
DAWN
Connor?
MIX TO.
Time for SARAH MACLACHLAN
Dawn kisses a bed ridden, aged Connor on the head as a doctor shakes his head. She gives a half smile and leaves the room.
MIX TO.
Andrew wipes down the bar one last time before heading outside to his car when Korben is sitting. They drive off with boxes tied to the roof.
MIX TO.
Jones is packing up the last of the boxes from Faith’s apartment. He walks into her room to switch off the light
FAITH
Damn you don’t waste anytime.
Jones turns around in shock.
FAITH
What? You can haunt your car but I have to leave this nifty apartment?
JONES
Faith…
FAITH
Hey, it’s cool. You don’t get rid of me that easily.
JONES
Are you…
FAITH
Okay?
(grins)
I’m five by five
