• Agree with your analysis of the Watkins goal. ESR was on him, while both Andersen and Berge rushed to try to do something. But it raises the question once again about how we defend corners. An attacking midfielder on their biggest goal threat? Makes no sense to me. I understand things are zonal now, but if we are marking someone, which we were, why use someone less suited to the job!?     • Leicester's goal. Similar questions were asked. So far this season only three teams have conceded more "shot creating actions" from dead balls than us. Even the commentator in the stream in the US made a point of saying at the start of the match that we struggle to defend corners and Villa are good at them and predicting that as potential difference.     • Should add, Kovacic Man City. 3 of 11 goals conceded, 27% from corners. League average over the last five seasons has been 13%, up from 11% the 5 seasons before that.     • No one seemed to pick up on the fact that ESR was assigned to Milenkovic at Forest, which I thought was really bizaare - and it led to that Wood goal that was disallowed for a fractional offside.   • You have disruptors like esr and Periera who man mark and slow dangerous players. You then have the more zonal headers of the ball like Andersen and Raul who are there solely to win headers without marking as such. We've looked particularly dodgy from defending corners this season as tosin did very well at winning the ball.
