  • Agreed. I thought ESR looked offside but VAR obviously couldn’t separate them which is why it took so long. I thought it was very harsh looking at the angles they had to separate them. Would like to see this decision making AI determined rather than human beings where the same prejudices and biases come into play.   • it was clear from the first replay ESR was just offside. The reason the 2 VAR refs took so long (as seen on the footage too). They were clearly waiting for orders from the bookies (from China) as to what decision would make them more money. Just look at how fast these VAr decisions are made midweek in uefa football.
