  • I believe the FA & Premier League have binding rules requiring a ban & reporting to the police under the Football Offenses Act. Harsh, perhaps. But we all know what those rules arose out of. Only thing positive was the way that Muniz & one other player (not sure who) intervened. The stewards were about to grab him & it could've escalated. I thought they showed real maturity to grab him as if they were celebrating with him & quickly escort him off. De-escalated that really well.
