Subject: Isn't your timing is off on the "plaything" jibe? My memory isn't your level, but was TK heavily involved in the club in those early years? Hasn't our uptick coincided with his appointment as Vice-Chair and DFO in 2017? Also, isn't the jibe beside the point? Yes, whoever was in charge in those early years made terrible decisions that are in-part behind the increased owner spend. But the ability to make mistakes, learn and not run away from them is impressive, no? I see no negatives here.
In reply to: Same Old Story 's message, "Yes, Khan has invested that amount, but if you can point relegation primarily at the door of those running the club, that, alone has cost us an approximate £700m in revenue just from not being in the top division. Another £150m was the purchase, and then another £100m for the stand build - effectively adding value to the asset he owns. So yes, we can be thankful for the benevolence, but the majority of it is his cost for allowing his son to use us as a plaything." on Tuesday, November 19, 02:16:38pm
