• As I say, in that time we've had better signings, managers and results. 3 things. I'm not saying that the signings have all been great since the son arrived. But they have made some good ones and you can't say its all Marco. Ream, Cairney, BDR, Tosin, Robinson, Tete all precede Marco. And the argument that Mitro came because of Slav is pointless. The owners' job, done right, should involve knowing when to sanction a signing irrespective of which one of their employees suggested it.     • Good point on Ream & Cairney. Irrelevant on Mitro. Have you ever owned or run a business? You judge an owner/director by the results of their employees. The skill is in knowing when to listen, when not to, when to leverage an employee's background & connections, when to see they are holding them back. We both agree signings are good since Marco. It's the club leadership that decided to hire him and that decides to sanction the players he wants or when to suggest or pursue others.         • I've said it a few times - that interview Jokanovic gave in Serbia in the summer of 2017 was absolutely incredible, and showed the difference in his relationship between the two Khans. Respect 'i have a great relationship' for SK, to scathing comments 'that guy' 'even a 10 year old could see' etc, about Tony.             • I can try and find it, but it was an interview in a relatively obscure Serbian Sports magazine 8 years ago, so may not be able to. It was also in Serbian, but it was a great interview, and Jokanovic's love for the club really came through. Let me have a look.               • Struggling to find it. Whilst the website (englesli-fudbal) is still up, i cant see any archives that go back that far. I've found a reference to the article on another site (mozzart sport) which dates it as about Jun 8th 2017, but it doesn't mention the part of the interview i'm referring to (more about English football culture, generally).
