Subject: A plausible conversation between SK & Ali Mac. SK: "I knew with Fulham I would lose money every year, but its much more than expected. Things are tough in the auto industry, especially with the Covid-related supply chain issues & inflation from Putin's war. And Brexit & that crazy lettuce lady have devalued sterling, making my underlying investment look a lot poorer. Do what you can to minimize losses without taking it all out on our season ticket holders or getting relegated." Ali Mac: "OK".
In reply to: eganonoa 's message, "Match day sales of food, drink and merchandise are probably similar each in isolation. But they shouldn't stop selling because together they are meaningful. When you are making little, or indeed losing, money annually every little bit helps. I don't think the Khan's bought the club as a charitable donation, and if they did I'd urge them to put that money somewhere more constructive. Keeping season ticket prices down while permitting increases elsewhere seems entirely reasonable" on Tuesday, May 14, 07:05:43pm
