All I have read is how unlucky Liverpool and Arsenal were to concede points to us. Whilst I appreciate they are exceptional teams just occasionally I would like us to get some credit. Some reporters are now saying we are a very good side and can cause teams problems going forward but the bias towards the top sides is ridiculous. If results had gone our way we would be sitting 4/5th in the table . I accept that as a long standing supporter of this great club I am biased but for goodness sake give us some praise. We have spent a modicum of what these teams have yet we are competing with them. We have a fantastic Manager and an excellent Chairman. I am luck to have met him and can honestly say I was impressed by his passion and humility. He has done an excellent job and I just hope eventually we get the credit we deserve.

Why would honest impartial press hand out praise to a team yo-yoing from 6th - to 12th weekly? We also didn't beat these MASSIVE CLUBS did we.? So why give us the backpage headlines? On Monday night the lamentable Sky and its scouser-in-chief Jamie 'spits-in-your-eye' Carragher were saying what a great performance it was - by Liverpool. All the analysis was about THEM. That sorry station gives us first Monday night in Novermber against Brentford, changes TWO Saturday games around Christmas and New Year to Sunday when its particularly difficult for fans because its 'only Ipswich and Southampton' - they joke privately about 'killing two birds with one stone'.. - Whilst you can't argue that their purchases were good (exceptional even)- they we so, so , so very lucky that season. Every possible stat just fell in their favour- lowest passing accuracy, lowest passes, most points won by decisive penalties, lowest injuries/starting 11 changes, most wins by 1 goal margin, 5th most shots in area allowed. I can’t remember a time when comments about FFC were generally so overwhelmingly positive. Just about every pundit seems to be full of praise for the team, individual players, the manager, the recruitment. Liverpool played exceptionally well for a team with 10 men but, for me, part of the implied achievement was that they managed to do it against a very good side. We were the first to beat Forrest in their own ground and no one would have put money down on us to get a result vs Arsenal and Liverpool and we scored first goal.
