A match to be savoured for a long time. As much Silva got it wrong v Southampton, his selections and tactics were spot on today. Chelsea didn’t take their chances in the first half but we were the better side in the 2nd and the match stats show that overall we were more than worth a point. That was before the Muniz goal. Great Christmas present.

Not sure that I'd necessarily agree with the view that Silva got it wrong against Saints. Blooding Josh King against a struggling side was arguably a bold move. Four points from the last two games would probably have been considered acceptable before a ball was kicked. Winning yesterday was arguably a much more satisfying way of gaining those four points. - Agreed, partly as alluded to below, we are far better suited to take on teams that come at us, will always struggle s little with lowest teams due to how our squad is constructed. Also you don’t get lukic where he is for last goal and us coming on strong at the end if you don’t rotate, compromise and make a few sacrifices during this festive period, especially wirh our injuries.
