Subject: Harry Wilson

I've been a big sceptic of his. Saw him as so one-footed he was too easy to defend against. From the right wing defenders knew he was always going to cut inside and was ineffective down the line, so pushed him there. And all the falling over showed him as lightweight. Marco talked about him needing to develop another tool to give the other team something to think about and he just never did.

I'm completely transformed on him now. He's not falling over. Working really hard and showing strength. I don't think he's actually developed another tool, but shown he always had it in his fantastic movement. The key is Marco enabling him to play more centrally. In days gone by, he'd probably have been a leading striker in a little and large combo with two up top.

We need more goals from the middle three. ESR might provide that. But, I think I have more confidence in Wilson providing that. Reckon we should buy another wide forward and more firmly make Wilson one of the cadre of attacking midfielders, so our 6-man squad for the middle three positions is: Lukic/Berge, Andreas/Wilson, ESR/Cairney. And our wide position depth is Iwobi/Nelson on left, New Signing/Adama on right.
