Subject: Wasn't there a rule for a while on those days, in the FA Cup, that both teams would wear their change kit if they clashed, so neither had any advantage?
In reply to: The Drobe 's message, "I think it was the FA Cup against WBA in 69. They were the holders, so maybe that's why we changed colours." on Tuesday, January 07, 01:00:38am

  • In the third round we won 4-1 at Sunderland wearing a borrowed blue kit (we neglected to take a change strip to Roker), so the club decided to wear a "lucky" blue kit against WBA in the 4th round (we lost 2-1).
