Subject: Doubt its a turn off at all. Have a look at the ranking of managers with the most cards last season (inside). It's like a who's who of most desirable managers (save Guardiola). Think of the top managers of the past 30 years (Ferguson, Mourinho, etc.), so many were big passion, anti-ref types. Think of a manager less as a behind-desk general, and more as leader who needs to spur his troops to action and you can see the sense in it. If there's some rough with the smooth in there, so be it
