This isn’t a Wilson attack, but it’s one of the worst cases I’ve seen in a while. It got better when the directive was only captains can approach ref, yellow to others and there’s evidence that fed into better behaviour at grass roots, but for some reason it’s all gone free reign again, not quite as bad as Utd under fergie or Terry/lamps etc under Jose, but it’s not passion or ok to run after a ref screaming you’re a f*** cheat regardless of correct/incorrect decision. -- SW6.doc

on or ok what you saw allowed you to discern that, but comments like that are said every game and even worse by lots of players. The referees can do more but he was incompetent at every level. - Agree. Wilson let his emotions get the better of him. But what do we expect? We ask them to go at it at the very highest speeds & intensities in a sport that sparks greater emotion that any other. When they lose they are ripped apart in public, often for lack of effort, in ways that are not experienced elsewhere. The teams that win often are the ones that are the most intense (see comments above and below re Ferguson and Mourinho teams) and we want to win.
