Subject: Match Day Plus ticket -don't bother

I sit in the riverside and have had season tickets there for 20 odd years. I thought I would use the Cup game to see what this Match Day Plus experience was like... £100 which I put through the company so got the VAT back as I took a client.

Well I wish I had not. Sat in the seats, four Watford Fans in front insisted on standing up, no stewards in sight as it was probably too cold for them! I tapped the fella on the shoulder, would you mind sitting down. "Fucking don't touch touch, I will stand if I fucking want to, what you going to do about it. fuck off you cunt" that was in the 3rd minute. Ok am used to a rough crowd sometimes but this was straight off the bat... So that set the tone. they eventually sat down. I know that is not all the club's fault but (a) where are the stewards (b) are they so greedy they sell those tickets to anyone? How do they screen the buyerS?

Food pre game was school dinner standard. Hot dogs on stale bun, deep fried chicken masquarading at Chicken Katsu, Veg option was deep fried sweet potato. There was not enough seating for all the guests and 1/3 were left with no where to sit, considering it opens 2 hrs before, and this was a quiet game. Was it worth it? Absolutely not. Poor experience compared to other grounds. I went corporate to the Blackpool and Bristol City games in the Championship and it was better value and far better experience.
