Subject: ESR - best roll on the pitch??

What is the best position for ESR on the pitch? Seriously questions or best jokes; feel free. Like a lot of our players he pops up here and there, all over the pitch. Perhaps he's best as the star player in a Championship team built around him?? He won't get that with us. I think we're guilty of not giving the ball to him enough but can understand why we don't when he doesn't produce a lot. He does look overweight a touch. Adama and Robison have a lack of composure. Robbo much less than Adama. Adama, side foot the ball into the net instead of blasting it?! We don't play to Adamas strengths so don't bother playing him bring on Sess. Don't think we need any signings in January.

I’m at the point where I think he and Anderson, are only playing because Marco wasted a lot of money on them. Neither are terrible players, but neither are anywhere near as good as our other options. - Diop doesn't deserve to have been dropped. Our good run coincided with him and Bassey at the back. Yes Andersen can play the occasional good diagonal ball but Diop looks by far the better defender, taller, quicker - he should be in the team. While I was watching the match I was thinking, the poorest performers were clearly Andersen, Bassey, Castagne and ESR, and how that matched completely with your position on recent transfers. I think any other time in our history I would be a lot more worried. But Marco has proven time-and-again that his new players need lots of time. Someone said prior that ESR needs his emotional support animal in Iwobi and I tend to agree. He needs to play on the left of that central midfield three, not the right of it. Unfortunately, Andreas is better there also. I suppose if Iwobi plays right then ESR could go there. He just seems a bit lost without him.
