Xg isn’t a more relevant stat at all. It’s based on what every player does, and not relevant to the player you are looking at. If you buy a striker who’s main attribute is scoring with his head, for example, he could still have a good xg even with f he couldn’t hit a cows arse, because the majority of other players who had a similar chance, who wernt expected to score it, and don’t, lower the xg for that situation.
