Subject: Who remembers?

Back in the 50's the disabled Fulham supporters used to enter the pitch area and drive their mobility chairs arround the pitch nd then park up out side the Johnny Haynes stand. For whatever reason a competitive edge was present among these motorised chaps- Egged on by the crowd , drivers were increasing their speeds down the riverside terrace .Of course one poor bloke over did it and ran out of track and attempted to make a right hand turn behind the Hammersmith goal -Of course hhe failed and the wheelchair overturned and spilled him out to oud cheers from the supporters .Not put off he scrammbled back to his wheelchair pulled it back over and continued his lap of the field to even louder cheers . So sad but so funny.
