Subject: The old Liverpool bootroom theory repackaged for the 21st Century and the era of Sporting/Technical Directors. But how real is it? Brighton. Before them Swansea comes to mind. Maybe Wigan. But who else? And anyway, are we really a good club for this given our different upper management model and the fact that so much that we can identify as a consistent system and structure stems from Marco? To me it's more likely to be new manager, new ideas, new system, new players.
In reply to: Juana Aorta 's message, "Losing an ambitious Head Coach should not be the problem. Not having a system of continuity in coach recruitment would be a problem. Brighton have a very good model that I hope we copy. That would take the anxiety out this innevitable situation." on Monday, March 17, 04:29:09pm
