Subject: I'm a P1 ST Holder and I can tell you it's a pleasurable change to get a ticket in the new stand and not have to put up with 4000 Palace fans very nearby if I'd taken up my ST seat as normal. A change is as good as a rest as they say.
In reply to: Barry@ENF 's message, "I understand maybe some frustration of P1 season ticket holders - but to be fair there were "better" seats available to them. That said, how can you spin more seats for home fans in a big cup game negatively? I am grateful to you because with your heads up, I managed to buy the last ticket in the Riverside." on Tuesday, March 18, 02:30:07pm

  • Not sure how it can be anything but a negative. St holders in the Putney were told they can’t sit there. All of a sudden, all the expensive seats get sold and then they magically open up. It’s not like they have built temporary stands is it, they purposely held back cheap seats (NT) -- Hg, Tuesday, March 18, 03:57:29pm (cpc141402-brnt4-2-0-cust971.4-2.cable.virginm.net/86.9.199.204)
  • But they're not 'cheap' for this game. The pricing was the same across all the stands (+ a tenner for the riverside). The Putney end tickets are the same price as i paid for the jh stand and the same price that others have paid for in the hammersmith end. I really think you're making something out of nothing. They probably didn't initially release them as they thought it would be better to not have a mixed stand for cost reasons (ie needing more security/segregation). • IIRC the "expensive" tickets for this game are £45? So £10 more than for P1 - and P1 STH didn't have to buy in Riverside either. That said, if you are P1/P2 STH and you LOVE your seat, this is a bummer for sure (NT) -- Jungle J, Tuesday, March 18, 04:08:27pm (cpc124440-croy27-2-0-cust52.19-2.cable.virginm.net/77.101.86.53)
