  • But the Club have finally built its own onsite kitchens and signed a deal with world renowned hospitaily company to provide what should be 'better, fresher' food and drink for you. The hours you can now spend on site is also effectily doubled.. that and the fact the nearest pub and shops arent close are they? So why won't you spend money that should benefit the Club? But at HT it didnt stop me getting a ale pie inside the ground, nor did it stop me getting a sandwich at Tescos after the game. I eat and drink when the needs arise. • Ive been in the riverside twice - once near the bottom of the upper tier - seemed fine, but views (obviously) no different to those you had from the old stand at about a quarter of the price. The second, i went quite high up (about 4 rows from back), and found the stand really, really steep. Can't say anything about catering as i rarely buy anything in the ground anyway as there are multiple other options locally with better quality and pricing.   • Re your second visit, that was my feeling too. In fact I was surprised it could have met the evacuation timings. It's not just the height and rake, it's the distance from the nearest staircase. I do buy beer onsite though, because a pint overlooking the river at H/T as well as the walk through the park are the two things that are fixtures for me. When i was younger sinking a beer or two pre-match and half time was very much part of the routine, but i've never gone to football for the quality of the cuisine in the ground. A good matchday experience?? sat in the duggouts with many many empty (NO SHOW) seats. before, HT and after game in the basement for 'complimenty food and drink' WORTH? £50 max?..   • missing the point mate?! your article mentions enclosed Locations/outlets where once inside punters have no choice but to Spend inside...... Airports / Stadiums therefore increase margins by 1.5X or even higher compared to 'street-pricing'...... BUT what of the FULHAM PIER> this gamechanger (non matchday). people DO have choice to spend elswhere.
