Subject: We're talking about a business turning over more than £150m a year. My gut feeling is that with something that size, they would have done the commercial analysis to see whether or not it would be financially prudent to extend the stadium. To repeat an often stated comment - ticket reciepts are a fractional percentage of total revenue - at last count about 6% of revenue for Bournemouth.
In reply to: Barry@ENF 's message, "I think this is a slightly strange approach Senor. In the main surely, having a ground with a small attendance is viewed as a negative. We do not see the mega-crowd club grounds as our natural bedfellows do we? Ok, I get that maybe you are peeved if you will struggle to buy a ticket; but as I understand it, they are obligated to give us a certain percentage anyway. Having a go at their owner for not forking out for a bigger ground to enable an away supporter to attend, seems, well, a bit weird." on Thursday, March 27, 11:21:33pm
