Subject: It's one of those inexplicable transfers, particularly given his injury record and only flash in the pan performance's. Arsenal had our pants down. As did Palace with Anderson. And if Silva does walk away, I think we'll see the ESR fade even further. I think the future, Silva or not, is a cut price return to Arsenal or championship loan.

  • I agree that 'disinterested' is too often the impression he gives, whether or not that's what's actually going on in his head who knows - I remember Lukic coming on as a sub at Stamford Bridge last year and thinking this guy looks as if he's actively trying to throw the game for us... and look at him now.   • To add - his qualities currently are that he doesn't give the ball away and his passes do tend to be forwards too. But there needs to be more spark and more mobility.
