  • At Maine Road, you're right about the cold:it was cold enough to snow for a time and it swirled inside the end of the stand! Unlike Hillsborough, although Mitch ran to the corner flag after his goal, (pursued by Les) there were far fewer fans to greet him this time behind 'our' end. And as for that coach journey home, with train drivers working to rule...Never got to hear it, but believe Maurice Edelston, appropriately, was the BBC radio commentator on the game.
