Subject: Got a bit of stick on here after Palace FA Cup exit...

Said on that evening that Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City were free hits and nobody is expecting us to pick up any points and I thought a top four finish was possible, comments like I will have some of what you are drinking.
Now just short of two weeks later and how do that look. blah, blah, blah... Well we ran Arsenal close, but no cigar. We were unlucky not to have scored before McAllister scored, but what a response and even after Diaz pulled one back and the 'bearded gnome' hit the bar I still thought we would get three points. Now call me an Optimist - difficult being a Fulham fan, it is a bit of an oxymoron - but I STILL BELIEVE! We now have 7 to play, we have 48 points which is more than 1.5 points a game and are 5 points off 5th (CL place),currently held by Man City (and they are at The Cottage for the last game of the season on 25/5/25 -I do like a date palindrome). In between that we have six games, including Villa and Chelsea who are above us and Bournemouth and Brentford who are just below us. The other two games are away to Southampton and at home to Everton who have both nicked cheap points off us this season.Let's just enjoy the last seven games and see where we are at 6pm on 25/5/25!
