• We indeed struggle against both ; lacking the guile , creativity and pace to open up those who sit deep and lacking the intensity to match those with aggression and pace . But yes if course we are having a very good season, many of the chance we create are born out of excellent intricate play but we rarely threaten from pure pace and running directly at/through our opponents .   • Disagree, when teams come at us, becomes end to end it suits us. CFC away was the best example, palmer said post game, when it turned into an end to end game we were too physical and athletic for them. It’s why we should have won away at city, done well v Liverpool, v spurs & N.castle, they’re all teams that come at you, try and win it back high up with high energy, we’ve dealt with them.       • Bournemouth go ultra aggressive, basically man to man all over rbe pitch at times, but they’d paid with a lot of injuries and players getting tired. When I look at the league and how is most aggressive and in your Face Id go Bournemouth, Liv at times, Arsenal, Newcastle and Spurs (certainly first half of season). We won’t win all games against these as they’re better teams, but largely done well, outside B.mouth who do you feel we’ve struggled against who are aggressive?         • I would say the recent games at Arsenal and Brighton , both of whom though not perhaps ‘ultra’ aggressive , give you little time on the ball . I’d also include Palace who although sitting deep still gave us little time on the ball . Earlier on Villa definitely were ‘on us ‘ every time we received the ball . Meanwhile the likes of Liverpool tend to press more offensively , perhaps as their defenders don’t have the legs .           • We beat a v.aggressive BHA easily at home, a minute away from a point away. Arsenal just beat Madrid 3-0, yet we could easily have come away with 2 draws. Villa are again a champs league 1/4 final team, they are simply better than us if they play well. Wouldn’t say that’s struggling against those, even B.mouth could easily have been 2 draws or even a win at home, they’re all just good teams who we won’t always beat.
