- I know discord well. I have had reason to join it for other purposes and have declined for all the reasons I've outlined. If you think somehow it provides a platform free of all the things bad about the internet you don't know a lot about discord (see link inside). If you like that group then you should stick with it and enjoy it while you can. If/when it gets bigger it'll turn to shit like everything else.
