Subject: We lost out in the FA Cup but now have four ‘cup final’ matches. We have just got to prepare in order to win all these games and then worry about next season. At least we have a realistic chance to beat our highest ever points tally in the Premiership and all our opponents will desperately want to beat us so there should not be any meaningless end of season type games.

  • I find all this hand wringing over the impact of a potential European tour to be a bit bizarre. Impact on what? We've had two seasons in a row where the promoted teams went straight down. Maybe Leeds are big enough to counter that next year. But we're so far from relegation fodder its not a serious consideration at this stage. But similarly, we have little hope for a top-5 finish. Our chances of ever winning anything come from cups.
