I'd love to keep Marco, but at the same time there are things this season, not playing personnel related, that should have been addressed. Set pieces, difficulty at beginning and end of halves, predictable play down the left, difficulty responding to tactical changes. Today, Moyes saw Berge bossing things and had his boys swarm him. That should have opened space elsewhere. But Marco seemingly had no answer. If he stays I think we need a tactical refresh; maybe via a shakeup of his staff. -- SW6.doc

The berge thing was so frustrating yesterday, they countered his early dominance by putting doucoure on him, yet we still tried doing the same thing again and again and again and kept losing the ball in really bad areas. Players used to be able to work things out, football so rigid now the manager has to instruct them to do anything different, which he didn’t. - Yeah. I was absolutely banging my head on this one. Their initial plan was simple: deny Andersen the ball. So it went to Bassey, then Berge and we were bossing it. Then they went after Berge and we didn't have a clue what next. Sometimes a manager can have such a hold on a team people are afraid to think.
