This is my take as well. We're not creating that many really good chances for our strikers. xG, a stat I don't particularly like but does a decent job in providing a more impartial view of the quality of chances, has us 6th worst in the league with 4.6 expected goals to 4 scored. Raul + Muniz have an xG of 1.3, 1 scored. It is reasonable to expect our strikers to occasionally create something out of nothing, but not always. -- SW6.doc

We drew because Ings scored when it wasn't laid on a plate, and it's a shame our blokes could not do the same. But anti-climax in *buildup* was the main story of the afternoon, when viewed 24 hours later. I repeat in all sincerity how surprised I was to find that, given what I'd been led to expect.
