Subject: Like anything in football they’ll be stats and vast training info to fall back on to go along with who coaches want to take a pen. It should be set in stone, X is the taker, if X isn’t on the pitch then Y is the taker and that’s it, end of discussion, everyone should know pre game. However, I’m curious as to how we decided AP was X rather than Raul, given the mitro saga, I really hope it isn’t based on ego rather than who’s more likely to score.
In reply to: p 's message, "Yep, bottom line is Silva, for the first time in his Fulham management career, made himself look a little silly making an issue of who takes the penalties. Raul arguably our best penalty taker, leave it to him. DON'T make a song and dance about an inferior penalty taker needing to take them..." on Wednesday, October 23, 09:24:53am

  • To add to what I feel is an overreaction to APs outburst, he doesn’t play like it’s all about him, he defends and works hard for the team, silva is constantly passing info via him on the touch line, he follows instructions to help the team. He’s Latin American, more prone to emotion, think how many times Ronaldo has a strop, as long as he learns from it then move on and get back to winning games. • As someone who was sat in the very bottom left corner of our section the altercation over the penalty happened right in front of me, and i thought it was a bit overblown anyway. I've seen players throw way bigger strops. (NT) -- Same Old Story, Wednesday, October 23, 03:26:51pm (NoHost/90.241.124.131)
