Germs shmerms- romance wasn't a disease, it was the nature of the species, was it not? To spend the midnight hours wrapped in something warmer than themselves alone. To rouse passion to a level that would have sent a heart thundering had they all not been silenced from the inside, whatever their personal stories of change might be. How better to take advantage of death than to engage in such an... "alive" act?
But face to face with tonight's love, who was asking questions? Not one hot-headed, young vampire so blissfully unflustered by the inevitable disaster he steered himself toward. No, correct that: Max was at the steering wheel here and nobody could expect him to do anything but go happily along! Being the upstanding, heroic gentleman that he was, he could refuse service to no sweet lady in need! Whatever her needs might be... And this redhead, her hair scented so heavenly, so warm against him, she demanded immediate attention. Was the timing right to kiss her, as she looked so lovely up at him? Well, she herself had challenged him to 'find out,' so kiss her he did. Just softly, slowly, senses snared in the circle of her arms, drinking in the honey of her lips just long enough to tease himself with wanting more and to judge how she might receive further advances. Hopefully this little encounter, as indiscrete and inappropriate as it was to let this happen in a stranger's home without first investigating the obvious connections between his host and this beauty, would go as smoothly as his hands slid to her hips. To smuggle her away from here? Or take the offer of a room for the night, though Zeth had certainly not planned on such bold violation of all rules of courtesy and decency? Or just fling her to the floor and... nevermind.
