 Without a fight or struggle, the dark fae had been removed from the handsome mortal's lap and stood toe to toe with her father. Across her features, laughter marred her lovely features as the young woman allowed her father to restrain her wrist. Oh daddy did not like her playing with Brad like this. Not that Lavinia cared what her father approved or disapproved of. Her chilling gaze dazzling dangerously, in the same manner her mother's once did, Little Red Riding Hood toyed dagerously with the Big Bad Wolf before her.

"We both know that I'm no lady. The bastard child of her bastard parents. Perhaps you should have thought of this before laying with mother."

Hmm... hopefully this comment would get that blue vein to pop out of his forehead and the corner of his eye to twitch ever so slightly. Is that a gray hair I see on Zeth's head? Oh the joys of having daughters, Zeth.

"Coloring a horse won't work. They have lip tattoos. Racing stolen horses is too risky."

Tipping her chin to the feathered beast perched outside the window, her father's daughter continued speaking. Choosing her words carefully and speaking slowly.

"You know as well as I do that Glashtyn isn't truely a bird, daddy. If we stole a stallion whose progeny were... let's say... above average and raced another stallion who resembled this 'hot horse'."

Lavinia would drop it at that, fairly certain that Zeth could connect the dots and realize where she was going with this. After all, the apple does not fall far from the tree.
